The Social Services Department has a broad area of responsibility, including regulatory functions and preventive measures, comprising a reception and investigation unit, outpatient care, family law, economic assistance, and an operational unit working with preventive measures.

Job Description

We need a therapist for the Outpatient Unit as one of our therapists will be on leave for two years. Your primary task is therapeutic work with the entire family in various configurations at different locations, for example, in the home, school, and our facilities. From September 1st, the treatment will primarily consist of early support and treatment commissioned directly by residents, so-called Direct Outpatient Care. Of course, we collaborate with our other units within the Social Services Department as well as other relevant actors and healthcare providers in the lives of the families/clients in question.

The work is often intensive and requires flexibility as working hours are adapted to the clients' needs.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a university degree in behavioral science, social work, or another university education that the employer considers equivalent. Further education in systemic theory and/or CBT is required. You have a B driver's license, and we would also appreciate if you have education and/or experience in the field of domestic violence and substance abuse. Experience in therapeutic work with families and individuals is required as the position assumes that you can work with the target group directly after your introduction to the workplace. It is an advantage if you have Basic Training in Psychotherapy, Step 1.

You have good collaboration skills and always seek solutions that are good for all parties involved. You are flexible, sensitive, and communicate with others in a constructive manner. Since our unit is in constant development, it is also important that you see opportunities in changes.

As the work is mobile in nature, a driver's license is a requirement.

Employment Terms

• Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
